Cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of pickup are non-refundable.
No-shows are non-refundable.

Weather Policy

Rentals may be canceled by Pono Kayak Rentals due to unsafe weather, flooding, river closures, or other hazardous conditions. We will be in contact via phone and email address on file with real time cancellation updates.
If Pono Kayak Rentals cancels due to weather or safety concerns, guests will receive a full refund or may choose to reschedule, subject to availability.

After-Hours Return Procedures

If returning equipment after business hours, please secure kayaks in the designated return area, place all gear in the locked return chest, and email a photo of the returned equipment to rentals@ponokayak.com. The photo serves as your proof of return and helps us verify that all equipment has been received.

1.Return kayaks to the designated trailer/storage area.

2.Place all rental equipment in the locked return chest.

3.Take a photo showing:
Returned kayak(s)
Equipment placed in chest

4.Email the photo to rentals@ponokayak.com (or whatever email you use).
Subject line: After-Hours Return – Reservation #_____

Follow the signs to the south end of the Coconut Marketplace parking lot and meet us at our designated pickup/check-in location.
